Mid- Winter Snow
Whilst I do dream with eyes bright
Flakes of snow swirl with height
And float by iced waves of light.
Like prayers taking fancied flight
Angel-dust plays with my sight
To quench my thirst for delight.
Winter may seem hard to bear
Truly, heaven clears the air.
Healing Rays come into me
At this time more easily.
Even animals appear
Squirrels, birds not just Reindeer.
Impish felines on the prowl
Giving dogs reason to howl
Penguin like birds seek for food
With does in my neighbor hood.
They beg for grains, nuts and seed
That is my pleasure to leave.
I adore to watch them eat
That I provide from God's feat.
Snow for them is nothing new
For nature is just a cue.
Creatures respond rapidly
Storms are not their tragedy.
Snow for them is nothing new
Whilst men complain cars askew
Wise ones use snow to renew.
Soon, winters weeks will be few.
