PROMETHEUS

The God of fire warms me well
His gift of flame helps us dwell

We give thanks for what is shown
In this great world all is known

The wrath of Gods could not bear
Oaths that felt so wrong to share

He gave flame for all to feel
Zeus flung death he could not heal

So his deeds to hell has paid
Pain he bore his life he laid

Hung out on a cliff was he
For all on earth plain to see

Bound on a cross strung to die
Up where birds peck out his eye

Flames of love still lick my heart
For this God who helped us start

A world with less icy cold pain
The race of men stood to gain

Pray for him whose soul shines rays
Odes to him all men's days

Allegro

As I alone danced
With care and grace
Almost wholly entranced
To keep the pace

Loud grew the tune and fast
Quicker the beat
Truly those steps forecast
Lightness of feet.

Valentine

Wearing my heart on my sleeve
I find stars under the eave
It's a land of make believe
That only God can conceive
But mere mortals do perceive

Snow is falling from the sky
Flakes land on me I do spy
They are crystals from up high
A winter scene upon my arm
I send to you my sweet charm.

Mid- Winter Snow

Whilst I do dream with eyes bright
Flakes of snow swirl with height
And float by iced waves of light.
Like prayers taking fancied flight

Angel-dust plays with my sight
To quench my thirst for delight.
Winter may seem hard to bear
Truly, heaven clears the air.

Healing Rays come into me
At this time more easily.
Even animals appear
Squirrels, birds not just Reindeer.

Impish felines on the prowl
Giving dogs reason to howl
Penguin like birds seek for food
With does in my neighbor hood.

They beg for grains, nuts and seed
That is my pleasure to leave.
I adore to watch them eat
That I provide from God's feat.

Snow for them is nothing new
For nature  is just a cue.
Creatures respond rapidly
Storms are not their tragedy.

Snow for them is nothing new
Whilst men complain cars askew
Wise ones use snow to renew.
Soon, winters weeks will be few.

Keeper of the Light

Fantastic are snow star flakes
Breath of Mother in our face
Just an instant do they show
Capture fast before they go.

Winged Snow Stars float to earth
A new world helped to birth
Energy for all to grow
The God of light doth bestow

This magic gift with lust
Wondrous is this angel dust.
Delight do I to witness
Aspire to forgiveness.

My soul doth love this gift
Icy cold blindingly bright
It drives me to reach for light
Removes darkness from the night.
